Ingredients

Serves: 6 Servings
  • Shishito Slaw Dawg
  • 6 hotdog links of your choice
  • 6 sesame hotdog buns
  • 2 cups of purple cabbage, shredded
  • 3 Shishito peppers, roasted and finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp of diced scallions
  • 2 Tbsp of rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp of sesame seed oil
  • 2 tsp of honey or sugar
  • 2 tsp of soy sauce
  • Sriracha mayonnaise

Cooking Instructions

    MIX

    In a medium bowl, mix together sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey, shredded cabbage, scallions and roasted shishito peppers. Toss together, until well combined, season with salt and pepper to your liking and set aside.

    PREP

    For Sriracha dressing, mix ¼ cup of traditional mayonnaise and a teaspoon of Sriracha hot sauce. Set aside.

    GRILL

    On a grill or stove top grill, cook hotdogs and lightly toast your hotdog buns and begin building your slaw dawgs! Start with a hotdog bun, smear Sriracha mayo, hotdog link and the Shishito slaw to finish it off! Add any additional condiments and enjoy!
